• Connecting with advisors in similar roles
• How to navigate CSUSB's online bulletin
• Transition issues of:
• First year students
• Transfer students (semester vs quarter)
• Common questions from students during appointments
• Future meetings
• Structure/Length of meetings
• Update from Dr. Lindfelt about EAB campaigns

• Discuss academic advising article, If Advising is Teaching, What do Advisors Teach? (please read before meeting)

Hello fellow CSUSB advisors!

It's a little late, but Happy New Year!  Happy 2016!

I have a feeling that 2016 is going to be an even bigger year for all of us in academic advising at CSUSB!

We have a great year in store with fun meetings, updates on advising, working groups in the Undergraduate Academic Advising Council, more readings on academic advising, and conference updates.

Our next new advisors group meeting will be on:
